LEM USA Announces LAH 125-P Transducer

New Products Feb 24, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

LEM USA Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) announced the addition of the LAH 125-P model to its LAH current transducer family. The new transducer is rated for nominal current measurements of 125 ARMS, which adds a higher current capability to the existing 25 ARMS, 50 ARMS and 100 ARMS models. The LAH 125-P is well-suited for industrial applications such as variable speed drives, servo control elements, uninterruptible power supplies and switched-mode power supplies.

The LAH 125-P allows ac/dc and is accurate to 0.5 percent over a frequency range of 0kHz to 100kHz. The device can be powered from a supply of ±12V to 15V, and has a 3dB bandwidth of dc to 100kHz. The LAH 125-P occupies less than 6cm² of printed circuit board area, is 27mm high and weighs 30g, making it suitable for high-current measurements on PCBs. The LAH 125-P conforms to all parts of the EN 50178 standard.
