Calex Offers New 1.10.750 Linear Power Supply

June 27, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Calex Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Concord, CA) announced the new model 1.10.750 linear power supply, which provides an output of 10V at 750mA. The 1.10.750 can be powered by 100Vac, 115Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac or 240Vac. The 1.10.750 is characterized by tight regulation, low noise and good stability, and the unit is suitable for use as a transducer excitation source.

The voltage accuracy of the 1.10.750 is ±1 percent. Line and load regulation is ±0.1 percent. Noise and ripple is only 1mV(rms). The input-frequency range is from 50Hz to 60Hz. The 1.10.750 short-circuit protection features fold-back current limiting so the unit can be shorted indefinitely without damage.

The 1.10.750 is housed in a 2.5in x 3.5in x 1.56in case, which is fully encapsulated with an epoxy potting compound making the unit ruggedized for harsh environments. The case operating temperature range is from -25 to +50 degrees C. Chassis-mounting kits are available for applications requiring screw-terminal connections. The 1.10.750 is backed by a five-year warranty.
