Alpha Industries Debuts AA026P2/AA032P1 Amplifiers

Alpha Industries (Haverhill, MA) announced its new AA026P2-A4 and AA032P1-A4 broadband mm wave, medium-power amplifiers that incorporate the patent-pending Alpha-2 surface-mount package. The ceramic surface-mount package is said to provide exceptional electrical performance and a high degree of environmental protection for long-term reliability in mm wave communication and sensor systems, including VSAT and broadband wireless access.

The design eliminates the need for micro-electronic assembly and tuning while increasing the production yield. As a result, the devices can be used as output stages or drivers in the transmit chain or LO chain in high-volume applications requiring high gain and high linearity.
