Self Resonant Frequency

I'm looking to find my self-inductance resonant frequency in the inductor im using. The inductor has a 6mm diameter/ 1mm in length.

But, I also don't know my parasitic capacity. And I need to find my self-resonant frequency. Does anyone have advice?

I think we all might need more information to help. What is the size of your coil? And what type of inductor do you have?

I nearly forgot.

Also, we need to have information about your capacitance. If you check on that, maybe we can all better help.

There are free online calculators to solve for your inductance, capacitance and even self-resonant frequency.

The capacitance equation can be found here, I believe.

I've decided to scrap my original plan. I'm thinking an iron core or powdered iron?

Thoughts?

Hello,

What will be the application for the inductor?
There are many inductors available with the datasheets, that will tell you the details.
Just have a look at Digikey, Mouser or Farnell/Newark.
