pwm to irf540n

I need to operate IRF540N. For this generating pulse from OPAL RT & then fed to IRF54N gate through IR2110. a square wave pulse is generated from pin 1 & 2 and that is fed to gate pin of mosfet. source pin of mosfet is connected to pin no 2 of IR2110. MOSFET drain is connected to a dc dc source of 5v where as dc sources -ve is connected to pin no 2. now as per pwm, in between drain & source terminal of mosfet a pulse of 5v magnitude will be seen but i found not pulsed wave. output i saw is like this. can anyone tell how should i get pulsed output from mosfet

Hello,

Post a schematic of your circuit.
The IRF540 needs 10 volts at the gate to be activated.
Does the irl2110 provide that gate voltage?

I have configured the IR2110 driver such that input pulses from the OPAL-RT system are applied to pins 12 and 10. At pin 1 of the driver, I am able to observe square pulses as expected.

However, when this output is used to drive the IRF540N MOSFET, the voltage across the drain-to-source terminals does not exhibit the expected clean pulsed waveform. Instead, the output waveform appears distorted, as shown in the attached observation. 1777817841799.png1777817850305.png

Hello,
