I want to design 0-50 V 10 amps DC motor controller from Mains 230V 50 Hz supply based on PWM circuit

 

I see many options.
>Build a 230vac to (0-50V dc 10A) power supply.
or
>Get a 230vac to 50V supply and add a 50V 10A motor controller. (make two small projects)

 

Do you have 50V 10 amps SMPS supply design

 

Do you need to brake the motor?

Make a 60V to 0-50V 10 or 20A buck. You probably can't really make a 0-50V so 0% duty cycle = 0V, and make the supply stable from 5-50V.
Is the 10A normal running current with a stall current of 30A? or is the stall current 10A?

can u please suggest suitable o/p circuit we can build micro controller based PWM om our own

 

I have not used this part but it looks simple. (uses a p-fet) But it looks like it would take 60 to 70V and buck it down to run the motor. It the running current is 10A you probably need a 20 to 30A supply. That might be too much for a p-MOSFET.

Here is another higher current option. N-MOSFETs Should run with less losses. I have not used this exact part but parts like this.

So the start up current could be 30A? or more.

 

so many options are available and my best and simplest option is building a power supply system that has variable output from 0 to 50 volts. So you need to regulate the voltage from the 240vac to the required variable output.
