Issue in HF transformer current in Dual active bridge DC-DC converter for DC fast charger

Hi,
I am designing and simulating a dual active bridge (DAB) for the DC fast charger output side. When I consider an operating condition where Vin (DC bus voltage, PFC output) is 800V and the DC output voltage at the battery side as 400V, I experience a huge current in the primary of the HF transformer which is expected. Is there any possible way to reduce this current during such operating conditions. Output side DC bus can be pre-charged to this level to reduce the inrush currents. Even though since the difference between input and output voltages is high, so the higher peak currents in transformer makes my selection of switches and magnetics requirements to be overdesigned to meet this operating conditions. Please share your insights to reduce the current during such conditions.

regards,
Vishnu
