TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. (Hillsboro, OR) announced the resignation of Kimon Anemogiannis as president of its Sawtek Inc. subsidiary. TriQuint named Brian Balut, vice president of sales and marketing; Azhar Waseem, vice president of operations; and Gary Monetti, director of engineering, to an interim office of president of the Sawtek subsidiary.
Steven Sharp, president and CEO of TriQuint, stated, "We'll all miss Kimon's leadership and technical expertise at Sawtek, and we wish him well in his future endeavors."
