SKC Co. Ltd. (Seoul, Korea) reported that it has won a project from the US Department of Defense (DOD, Washington, DC) to develop lithium-polymer battery products. The firm reported that it has received about $100,000 from the US DOD to develop secondary batteries for military equipment. SKC expects to receive $1.0 million in additional payments from US authorities.
