Shimshom Gottesfeld Appointed CTO and VP of R&D at Mechanical Technology Inc.

Mechanical Technology Inc. (Albany, NY) announced the appointment of Shimshon Gottesfeld as the chief technology officer and vice president of research and development.

Gottesfeld led the fuel cell research program at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for more than 15 years. He has published more than 130 articles, written chapters for five books and holds seven patents in his field. His focus has been in electrochemistry, electrocatalysis and electrochemical power sources. He received his PhD from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
