Motorola Energy Systems Group and Nexergy Announce Joint Initiative

Motorola Energy Systems Group (ESG, Lawrenceville, GA) and Nexergy Inc. (Columbus, OH) announced a joint initiative to offer Energy Systems Group's complete portfolio of energy systems solutions based on lithium-ion/polymer technology to OEMs. ESG and Nexergy will provide this energy system portfolio to an expanded OEM customer base.

The portfolio includes alternatives for power delivery, charge control and battery pack configurations. These packs are available in various footprints, capacities and thicknesses. Nexergy plans to offer the portfolio to companies developing portable products and will provide design assistance to integrate the systems into the customer's device.
