CITIC Constructs Chinese Lithium-Ion Battery Plant

CITIC Guoan Group (China) reported that it has constructed a lithium-ion battery production base to be named CITIC Monguli Power Technology Co. Ltd. (Beijing, China). The new plant will manufacture lithium-ion motive batteries and specific batteries. The company plans to release batteries based on LiMn²O and LiNiO² materials applicable for power supplies and energy storage.

CITIC Guoan recently introduced a lithium-ion secondary battery with up to 200A/h. The batteries are suitable as a power source for electronic, communications and automotive applications.
