Calpine Canada Power Ltd. (CCPL, Calgary, Canada) announced that Toby Austin has been appointed to act as interim Chief Executive Officer and President, succeeding Rohn Crabtree, who will continue in his role as a Senior Vice President in the Finance group at Calpine. Toby Austin currently serves as Vice President and Managing Counsel for Calpine Canada and joined Calpine in 2001.
"Calpine Power Income Fund will continue its focus on successful operations at its existing Canadian plants," said Toby Austin, interim President and CEO of CCPL. "The Fund will also continue to identify appropriate investment opportunities and where appropriate make acquisitions."
