Silicon Energy Acquires SRC Systems

Silicon Energy (Alameda, CA) announced the acquisition of SRC Systems Inc. (Berkeley, CA). The acquisition of SRC adds more in-depth energy accounting and analysis capabilities to Silicon Energy's EEM software suite, which allows companies to manage their energy use in real-time through an integrated and open, Web-based system.SRC provides services, using its accounting and energy-analysis systems, to 5,000 customers, including IBM, Marriot Corp., Saks Inc., Johnson Controls, Honeywell and Siemens.
