SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG (SFC, Munich, Germany) announced that Founder Manfred Stefener is to join the company’s Supervisory Board. Also, effective October 1, 2005, the SFC Management Board will be led by Technology and Operations Managing Director Jens Müller and Sales and Marketing Managing Director Pieter Bots. Müller joined SFC in 2001 and has led the company’s technology development since that date. Bots joined the company this year after selling his stake in consumer electronics company Freecom Technologies.
"I would like to welcome Dr. Stefener to SFC’s Supervisory Board," stated SFC Supervisory Board Chairman Rüdiger Olschowy. "He has done an outstanding job in building the world’s leading commercial fuel cell provider."
