PULS GmbH (Munich, Germany), a manufacturer of switch-mode power supplies for DIN rails, and MGV Stromversorgungen (Munich, Germany) announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership. MGV will operate as an organization specializing in customized solutions within the scope of this supplier alliance. MGV will also obtain access to PULS manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic and later in China, and also benefit from its global purchasing activities (with a focus on Asia).
MGV customers will be able to take advantage of the worldwide support services offered by PULS' branches. In addition, PULS' development know-how, including its new basic Dimension® technology, will be available to MGV for its own projects. PULS customers now also have the opportunity to obtain standard power supplies and customized solutions from one provider.
There will be no changes in the boards of directors or the management, and each company will continue to run its day-to-day operations on an independent basis. Klaus Denis remains sole managing director of MGV.
