Intevac Announces Board of Directors Changes

Intevac Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) announced the resignation of Edward Durbin and the appointment of Robert Lemos to its board of directors. Lemos will join David Dury, Kevin Fairbairn, Robert Hempstead, David Lambeth, Norman Pond and H. Joseph Smead on Intevac's board.

Intevac Chairman Norm Pond said, "Ed Durbin has been a member of Intevac's board of directors since the founding of the company in 1991. He has made major contributions to the company. Ed will continue as a Director Emeritus and we look forward to his continuing advice. I am pleased to announce that Robert Lemos has joined the Intevac board of directors. Bob's experience at Varian was with high-technology businesses similar to Intevac and we are looking forward to his involvement on the board."
