The conference will be held April 3-5, 2006, at the Richardson Hotel in Richardson, TX. The theme for PPDC '06 will be "Can Power Management Assure Extended Run Times?" This three-day international conference will serve an audience of decision makers who are interested in learning about, and contributing to, the latest commercial advancements and anticipated future developments related to advanced power management and efficient energy utilization.

"Breakfast with Darnell" will be one of the highlights of PPDC '06. The topic at Breakfast with Darnell will be "Micro Fuel Cells, Never Ready for Prime Time?" Darnell is seeking proposals for papers on power management, including controllers and control loops, design tools, topologies, efficiency standards and measurements, low dropout-voltage regulators, switching regulators, amplifiers, and battery chargers, as well as efficient energy utilization, including backlighting, rotating memories, new display technologies, imaging devices, MP3 players, USB power, processor cores, RF sections, fuel gauging, and so on.
