Astrodyne Releases 100 to 150W Desktop Style External Switching Power Adapters
Astrodyne Corp. announced an expanded series of 100 to 150W desktop style external switching power adapters. These desktop adapters are well suited for use with microcomputers, desktop peripherals, printers, and test equipment.
The ASA100/120/150 series offers single outputs in voltages that range from 12 to 48Vdc. All units accept a universal input of 90-264Vac. These feature-rich adapters provide line/load regulation of 0.5/5% respectively, low ripple/noise of 1.5% (typical), overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and over temperature protection, and exhibit operating efficiencies of up to 94%. The output connection is made via a standard DIN plug with other connections available upon request.
The ASA100/120/150 series provides input-to-output isolation of 3000Vac. The adapters meet CEC Level V Standards, are fully UL, CSA, and TUV safety certified and also meet FCC Part 15/Level B EMI/RFI requirements.
