Mean Well Enterprises Co. Ltd. has unveiled the SGA40 (U/E type) and SGA60 (U/E type), 40W and 60W wall-mounted green adaptors. These two series comply with the latest international energy efficiency regulations including EISA 2007/DoE Level VI, featuring the ultra-low no load power consumption which <0.075W (for SGA40 whole series and SGA60 5/7.5V models) and <0.15W( for SGA60 9~48V models), and the highest working efficiency up to 91%, making SGA40/60 series fulfill energy saving and carbon reduction at either the no load mode or the operating mode.
SGA40/60 series are both paired with Euro plug (E type) and USA plug (U type), respectively. They adopt slim design (32mm and 35mm wide for SGA40 and SGA60, respectively) that effectively prevents that one adaptor body may take certain spacing from the adjacent ac receptacle. The power body is compact, and no additional purchased ac cable is required; SGA series is thus easy and convenient for users to carry. These two series offer various models ranging between 5V and 48V and are designed for applications such as various types of consumer electronics, telecommunication devices, office/commercial equipment, industrial apparatuses, or other equipment or systems required to meet the latest energy efficiency regulations.
These ac-dc adaptors operate with a universal 90 to 264 Vac input. They are packaged in a 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case and are specified with a working temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees C. Protection functions include short-circuit protection, overload protection and over-voltage protection. The SGA60 series is equipped with a “power on†LED indicator. Dimension (L x W x H) are 75.5 x 32 x 47.5 mm for the 40W units and 93.5 x 35 x 51.5 mm for the 60W models. Both series carry a three-year warranty.
