Mouser Electronics and Toshiba America Electronic Components Enter Into Distribution Agreement

Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC), an independent operating company owned by Toshiba America, Inc., a subsidiary of Toshiba Corp..

Toshiba is a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality discrete devices, digital multimedia and imaging products, microcontrollers, and wireless components. Toshiba products are suitable for cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, medical devices, automotive electronics, and other applications.

"We are excited to add Mouser Electronics to our distribution network," said George Rea, Director of Distribution and EMS Channel Sales at Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. "Mouser’s reputation as the source for new products and technologies, as well as their strong reputation in the industry, will allow our products to reach new customers."

According to Mike Scott, Mouser Vice President of Active Products, "We are honored to offer Toshiba’s innovative products to our engineering customers for their new design projects.
