Mospec Granted Approval for China Subsidiary

Mospec Semiconductor Corp. (Taiwan) has received investment approval from the Investment Commission of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to invest $4.0 million in setting up a subsidiary in China called H&N Semiconductor SHN Co. Ltd.

The subsidiary will triple the capacity of Mospec's assembly operations in mainland China. The current assembly house in China supplies rectifiers in TO-220, TO-3P, TO-226, TO-225, and surface-mount A- and B-type packages.
