Mike Engelhardt has been writing physical simulators since 1975. His first simulators were written for high energy physics labs and instrumentation companies working in charged-particle optics and oil exploration. Mike's educational background is physics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; University of Mainz, Germany; and University of California, Berkeley. He holds patents in simulation and switch mode power supply design. Mike has delivered seminars on SPICE simulation in 48 countries.

David holds a degree in Electronics and Automation Engineering from the University of Valladolid and Master in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering in Natural Computation from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he belonged to the Biological Neurocomputing Group. In addition, he was a hardware development engineer in the Process Control Group at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Spanish National Research Council (leading national science and technology institution). One of the “100 Most Creative Spaniards in Business World” by Forbes in 2021, his professional activity has received awards such as the "1st Entrepreneurs Award" (Everis Foundation, 2010),"1st Ibero-American Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" (2011), "Entrepreneurs Award" (Fundación caja de Ingenieros, 2014), "Startup of the Year" (The South Summit Awards, 2014), "Renewable of the Year" (Abulensis, 2016), "Innovative SME Award" (Government of Spain, 2017), "SIT-INSEAD Program Prize" (European Investment Bank, 2021). During his professional activity he has generated and licensed a dozen patent families and is author of several scientific publications. He is currently co-founder, chairman and technology manager at Vortex Bladeless S.L.

Adib is the inventor of real-time power analytics for mission-critical electrical power distribution networks. In 2018 he co-founded Xendee and currently serves as their CEO. He has also worked with multiple organizations in computer applications for power and energy. This has included the design and development of a predictive energy management system for the National Airspace System Critical Infrastructure. Adib holds 28 U.S. and international patents in the areas of electrical power system design, optimization, and capacity assessment.
