William Mao, Delta Electronics

William Mao is the Vice President of Energy Infrastructure at Delta Electronics (USA). He leads the Solutions Business Platform, overseeing the utility, microgrid, data center, C&I, and residential sectors with a focus on electrification and energy storage. With over 35 years of experience in power transmission and distribution, Mr. Mao has a proven track record of delivering electrification and energy storage solutions and driving the energy transition for global industrials and utilities. Prior to joining Delta, he held leadership positions at ABB and Powell Industries, where he served as Vice President and Division General Manager, and led numerous global initiatives. William holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA in Management and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate of the ABB Management Program at Duke University.
