Jost Allmeling is currently the Managing Director of Plexim. He received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Aachen University in 1996, and his Ph.D. degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in 2001. In 1996, he became a Research Associate with the Power Electronics Laboratory. From 2001 to 2003, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Power Systems Laboratory. In 2002, he cofounded Plexim, a spin-off company from ETH Zurich that develops the software PLECS for fast simulation of power electronic systems.
