Daniel Higgs, PhD, Iontra

With over a decade of experience in battery technologies, Daniel Higgs is passionate about developing and selling innovative solutions that enhance battery performance and sustainability. As the Director of Business Development & Revenue at Iontra Inc, he leads the sales and marketing team for a cutting-edge charging technology that doubles battery cycle life and charge speed. He has successfully launched three new products, generating $15M in revenue and securing more than 10 joint development agreements with major OEMs. He has also built and optimized business development strategies and established a network of 30+ supply chain partners and cell manufacturing facilities. Additionally, he collaborates with the company’s CEO and R&D team to showcase the benefits of Iontra's technology and increase customer adoption. As a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a board member of the Materials Research Society, he has a deep understanding of the materials, design, and market challenges and opportunities in this field.
