Kaneka and BP Amoco Cooperation on Solar-Cell Sales

According to Japanese news reports, chemical firm Kaneka Corp. (Japan) and BP Amoco (London) are preparing to cooperate on sales of solar cells. BP Amoco is expected to invest about 1 billion yen in a Kaneka subsidiary developing low-cost solar cells by June, and to market the products through BP Amoco's sales network.
