Robert Keim graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He later completed a copyediting certificate program with the same institution. A professional writer and technical editor, Robert worked for five years as an engineer and has extensive experience in a wide variety of fields, including power management, analog design, firmware development, digital signal processing, motor control, digital camera design, low-noise PCB layout, system integration, designing for harsh environments, neural networks, and software-defined radios. He specializes in mixed-signal embedded systems. Robert is the Director of Engineering for All About Circuits.
