Alfonso Martínez is a software and electronics engineer and creator of OpenMagnetics and AutoPlanar. He has more than 14 years of technical experience in electronic engineering and computer science. He also holds an MSc in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as CTO at Frenetic, where he was responsible for developing its online AI-based tool for designing magnetic components. Prior to this, Martinez cofounded the start-up Swarm64 in Berlin, where he created an FPGA-based architecture to optimize the performance of databases.
