Aaron Carman is a Ph.D. electrical engineering student at Texas Tech University studying microwave radar technologies, electromagnetics, and biomedical applications of microwaves. He obtained his B.S. in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University in 2020. Before beginning his formal engineering education, he was an avid Amateur Radio operator and founded the first amateur radio club at his high school. The mystique behind electromagnetics, antennas, and worldwide communication inspired him to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Carman's primary interests include analog integrated circuit design, radio-frequency circuits, and systems engineering for highly integrated devices.
