SENSOR+TEST 2020 Topnotch Conferences to Provide Founded Insights into Sensors and Measurement Future

October 28, 2019 by Sensor+Test

This article highlights SENSOR+TEST 2020 trade fair for sensor, measurement, and testing technology that will be accompanied by two first-rate conferences.

From the 23rd to the 25th of June, 2020, the SENSOR+TEST – the leading international trade fair for sensor, measurement, and testing technology – will be accompanied again by two first-rate conferences: The SMSI 2020 – the Sensor and Measurement Science International, is to be held for the first time, while the ettc2020, the European Test and Telemetry Conference, is to be held for the fourth time in Nuremberg. Members of enterprises and institutes can start to submit their contributions as of today.

The international technical conference SMSI 2020 – Sensor and Measurement Science International (www.smsi-conference.com) – will be held next year for the first time parallel to the SENSOR+TEST (22 – 25 June 2020). It is based on the previous AMA conferences and offers an international platform for presenting the latest research results, bringing together scientists and developers from all relevant disciplines. Suppliers and users can gain valuable insights into future-relevant research results. The SMSI 2020 pursues a holistic approach to sensor and measuring technology, while taking account of the strong impact of the current digital transformation. This is why the event will bring together experts in the fields of sensors, instrumentation, measurement science, and technological measuring infra-structure. The conference is to start on the 22nd of June, 2020 – and thus one day before the trade-fair itself – and includes a Tutorial Day to allow users to familiarize themselves with the usability of the latest developments and processes.

“The success story of the scientific conferences in the area of sensor and measuring technology parallel to the SENSOR+TEST goes back to over 30 years. However, with this new format, we’re going to advance this success to a worldwide and scientifically leading event with our partners from industry and research as well as with the national and international measurement institutes,” says Holger Bödeker, the organizer of the SENSOR+TEST, regarding the new format. Interested authors, developers, researchers, and other scientists have the opportunity to submit their contributions until 31 January 2020 at www.smsi-conference.com/call-for-papers.

The ettc2020 European Test and Telemetry Conference is the most important platform for telemetry, telecontrol, test instrumentation, and data processing. It is being held for the fourth time in parallel and in cooperation with the SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg (23 – 25 June 2020). In hall 2, members of enterprises and institutes can present their innovations, products, technologies, or services relevant to these topics. Visitors and participants may rediscover connectivity as the backbone of today’s communication society. They will certainly obtain information on the important role of telemetry technologies for applications, in such areas as aerospace, automotives, and biomedicine in current industrial developments, such as IoT, big data, wireless or UAV (drones).
