Series 3 & 4 Oscilloscopes - The new MDO Series 3 and MSO Series 4 oscilloscopes are specifically designed for a wide range of demanding applications and are affordably priced. Tektronix's new mid-range oscilloscopes offer the same ease-of-use and design as the Series 5 and 6 MSOs. The Series 3 and MSO Series 4 MDOs developed by Tektronix engineers complete the scope of the oscilloscope portfolio.

Tektronix's Low Noise ASIC, developed by Tektronix, enables the Tektronix 6 Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSO) to set the mid-range performance threshold of 8 GHz for the oscilloscopes to 25 GS / s simultaneously on all 4 channels. As a result, up to four high-speed signals can be displayed exactly at once in fast, complex embedded systems. Focusing on ease-of-use and expandability in combination with advanced measurement capabilities and new probe technologies, the Series 6 MSOs provide the highest level of measurement confidence.

A new software plug-in for the AFG31000 Arbitrary / Function Generator allows you to perform key double-pulse tests in less than a minute, saving significant time over alternative methods. With the new dual-pulse test software, the pulse parameters of the pulses required for the test can be quickly defined in a window of the large touch screen display and then generated - all in less than a minute. The application allows impedance matching over the pulse duration and the time interval between pulses for up to 30 pulses. The pulse duration is adjustable from 20 ns to 150 μs.
