NIC Components Announces the Release of Extended Temperature SMT Power Inductors.

Automotive-grade molded metal composite SMT power inductors / High Temperature and High Current Rated

NIC Components Corp. is pleased to announce the release of the NPIM_PE series of extended temperature (+155°C rated) automotive grade molded metal composite SMT power inductors. The NPIM_PE series meets the requirements of AEC-Q200 and is available in nine case sizes ranging from 5.7mm x 5.2mm to 23.5mm x 22.0mm (L x W) sizes with a component height of 2.8mm to 12.6mm.

The NPIM_PE series covers an inductance value range of 0.1uH to 100uH in ±20% tolerance and features high saturation current ratings up to 115A. Extended operating temperature range from -55°C to +155°C (ambient + self-heating) means the NPIM_PE series is suitable for both low and high-temperature operating environments. The NPIM_PE series is ideal for use for high current DC-DC conversion applications in automotive systems, power supplies, industrial equipment, motor drives, LED drivers, networking, and communications applications. NPIM_PE series is RoHS and REACH compliant, halogen-free and reflow soldering heat rated to +260°C.
