What is this? Is a resistor?

I have found several components with only an 'L' on it. Are similars to 1206 resistors. There are 6 in serial, and the first and the last one are 221 marked. Could the other four be resistors aswell and have lost the upper film layer? What an 'L' can mean? I never saw something like that.

Could it be an inductor of 220uH at +/- 15% tol. ?
With an ohmmeter, if so, it should give something close to 0 ohm (in parallel with the board, that still makes 0 ohm).

Thank you for your help, but a colleague has explained to me that are marks made drung manufacturing process made at the depth point with a laser. That marks usually are covered with a film cover with the value on it. So, in this case are resistors 1206 size of 221 value. I fact, the ones I replaced are marked as 2200 with the same value of 220Ohms.

Thank you!
