Three phase conversion??

Hi, I am wondering why the conversion of a 3 phase generator is different to a 3 phase load. Was going over some material and this is stuck in my head, so to convert a 3 phase source (delta to wye) you divide by ROOT(3), which makes sense and can be explained via phase shifts, however the impedance is converted by dividing by 3 and I can't find a good explanation.

Hi,

If you alter the voltage you alter the current right?
So you may end up with Z=V*a/(I*a) so the constants 'a' cancel.
Try that.
