My current power supply — btw, I'm just using it to power a model railroad — is giving off such a gargling sound when active. Anyone knowledgable in filtering solutions?

I'd like to pick your brain.

Thanks.

Where the lamination's appear to be tight but under the AC applied magnetic set up field the lamination will vibrate and make a noise {{ if thats the case you must try and use a bolt and nut clamp to secure the lamination's and that will stop the irritating noise sadlly if the bolt and nut do not work then you must buy a new Mains Transformer .....
