Prof. Dr. Leo Lorenz holds the Dipl. Ing. degrees from TU-Berlin and the University of Munich, Germany. Since 1976, he has held various positions in the field of automotive and industrial technologies at AEG, the R&D center for Power Electronics in Berlin, Siemens Semiconductor Division (Infineon Technologies AG since 1999) and Power Semiconductor & Power IC’s. He is a renowned academic, the author of more than 300 technical papers and patents, and the laureate of many research and innovation awards. Leo is the president of the European Center of Power Electronics (ECPE), an IEEE Fellow, and a member of German Academy of Science.
