Chen Wei was born in Jiangxi, China, in 1983. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2004. He received the M.S. degree in power electrical engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2007. Currently, he is the manager of power applications for SiC at Cree China. He is interested in power electronics, power system, and power semiconductor, together with the applications in various sectors.
